About Us

It all started in 1915 in the farm of J.P. Fresh in Nebraska, when he had the vision to create a general Dairy Store in town and diversifying from the “milk-man” delivery channel. Since then, and for over 100 years, DairyCo has continued to be innovative and lead the way in technology, sales, marketing and product diversity.

Today, with headquarters in Kansas City, MO and over 15,000 employees in the US and Europe, we continue to innovate and expand our reach and our commitment to better and healthy living for all. We came a long way from the family owned company to a publically traded company in 1985, evolving from a Milk producer and distributor to a full range of dairy products, and others, via our four business lines: Fresh Dairy, Water, Early Nutrition and Medical Nutrition.

Today, we have three manufacturing plants in Mid-West USA, three in Eastern Europe (Croatia, Russia, and Romania) and one in the UK. Our growth plans include Canada, Western Europe and Latin America. We primarily sell through supermarkets and large chains as well as smaller retail and niche health food shops, and we are constantly looking for new and innovative channels to provide our products to our consumers.

Fresh dairy products represent 55% of the group’s total sales, Early Life Nutrition 18%, Waters 15% and Medical Nutrition 12%.
